Coach Gartside has been coaching with CCCS over the past 10 years and has been a coach or referee for city leagues for over 15 years. Mr. Gartside has been a part of CCCS as a parent/staff for over 20 years and is a valued member of our school’s community. Much loved and appreciated by both students and parents, Coach Garside has the ability to joke around with athletes while simultaneously pushing them to give their best on the field. He believes an athlete's character is more important than their talent, and his goal is to create well-rounded players on the field, as well as in the community and classroom.
Coach Gartside is a coach that inspires, motivates and brings the best out of his players.

Chris Guerra is a long time parent/coach/volunteer who has two boys (Alex and Dominic) who will soon be CCCS “Lifers." He also has a daughter (Noelle) in middle school at CCC. Chris has 12 years of soccer coaching experience in local city leagues and 6 years of coaching at CCCS. Not only do you see Chris on the soccer field, but in the kitchen as well as a gifted caterer.  CCCS has been blessed by Coach Guerra’s catering skills as he has cooked for the Annual Auction three  times. Coach Guerra has a great report with his athletes which allows them to trust him and push to improve.  Coach Guerra’s coaching style is to balance intensity with fun.

Coach Faber has been at CCCS for 17 years and has taught high school life sciences, was the Women’s Athletic Director for Middle School and High school and currently is the Middle School Athletic Director and teaches PE for the elementary.  She and Joel have three children that are all at CCCS.  Ethan is a Junior, Addison is a Freshman, and Carson is in 7th grade.  Not only has Coach Faber taught at CCCS but she attended here as a student from 6th grade and graduated from CCCHS.

Coach Faber has coached softball for eight years, basketball for 15 years, soccer for five years and volleyball for five years.  She strongly believes that it is important to try new sports because you never know where your new passion will be found.  Encouragement and building one another up are key factors to any team.  Building team chemistry, learning new skills, understanding what grit and determination are, to give your very best and never give up, and have fun doing it, will contribute to the success of any team.

Coach Coleman has been teaching science, math, and PE at CCCS over the last 9 years.  He has coached boys and girls volleyball and basketball for over 10 years, at both the middle school and high school levels.  He and his wife, Alison, have two sons who attend CCCS, Andrew (6th grade) and Will (3rd grade).  Coach Coleman believes that all students in middle school should join a sports team, no matter their ability, because they never know that they might like the sport.  His goal is to teach each athlete the game and improve their skills, whether they are new to the sport or have been playing it for years.  Coach Coleman asks for his athletes to try their hardest, be willing to learn, and have fun in the process.
