Club Cougar
The after school program for K-8th grade students at Contra Costa Christian Schools is known as the Club Cougar. The Club Cougar after school program is designed to be a fun, nurturing, and safe environment for all students. This program is designed to allow students to have time to play freely as well as time for structured activities. Club Cougar is open every afternoon from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Parents are strongly encouraged to pick up their child(ren) by 5:45pm.
This club is intended for use by kindergarten through eighth grade students and occurs on every scheduled school day of the year. All students signed into the Club Cougar will be given a snack and will participate in the daily activities until picked up by a person designated on the student’s contact list in RenWeb.
Kindergarten - Fifth Grade All elementary school students that are not picked up by 3:00pm (11:30pm on half days), will be automatically escorted to their designated room and signed in to Club Cougar. A minimum of 30 minutes will be charged.
Sixth Grade - Eighth Grade - All middle school students that are not picked up by 3:30pm (12:00pm on half days) and not part of a scheduled CCCS after-school activity, will be automatically escorted to their designated room and signed in to Club Cougar. A minimum of 30 minutes will be charged.
There are two payment options for the Club Cougar. You may choose Annual or Drop-In rates, these options need to be set up prior to the use of the Club Cougar program. If the payment plans are not set up prior to using the program, the Drop-In rate will be used automatically.

Our weekly schedule includes such activities as:
- Freeplay
- Study hall for homework
- Cooking
- Crafts
- Large group games
- Movies and popcorn (Friday afternoon treat)

A Bay Area native, Nico Wristen earned his Psychology degree from Washington State University and is now in his third year at CCCS. He’s passionate about creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where students can thrive. Outside of school, he enjoys attending local sports games and trying new food spots with friends and family.
