The elementary school strives to educate the whole child - academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually. We balance these different parts, recognizing that each child is uniquely made in God's image.  CCCS embraces the individual learning styles of each student, allowing us to provide them a learning environment where students thrive.

By using differentiated instructional strategies, we offer each child the ability to discover the method that's most effective for them.
Our teachers are aware of each student's individual needs and background in their classroom.

We promote high academic standards and spiritual development through our extensive curriculum, daily devotions, chapel classes, co-curriculum programs and special events throughout the year.  We integrate Biblical truth into the curriculum.  We want students to incorporate a Christian worldview into all aspects of their lives and learn how to live in the light of God's amazing love for us.

Our academic program is rigorous and the lower school chooses curriculum materials on the basis of educational quality and development appropriateness.  We use a variety of resources in the classrooms to support student learning and we follow California state educational standards.

Lower school students participate in several specials including physical education (PE), music, library and technology.

Our students participate in Bible as a part of their daily learning.

We are educating students for a world that is constantly changing. We want students to identify problems in the real world, critically evaluate how to develop solutions and take action to make their communities better.  Students are never too young to begin learning these skills.

Our teachers are continually improving through our in service trainings and external professional development.
